Geopolitics and Killing Scientists (About Iran)

Technology gives us wings. but we don't want our enemy to have wings , right? That kinda sums up the secret US missions in World War 2 to kidnap Hitler's top scientists and bomb makers to keep the enemy at the bay.

war and killing

So much fighting going on in this world , as Nietzsche's Will to Power might have ended up in the wrong hands now and they are thinking may be he wanted us to increase the killing of the weak to be the actual power beholders.

While he actually uttered that fact to be dominating otherwise you will be dominated, Israel took this way more seriously than what it was ought to be. Like what kind of crazy politics has to be running to force a tiny nation to be the core front of warfare in multiple regions across the globe!.

Surely you can make the argument that its not alone, allies like US are the actual perpetrators but that too couldn't be registered in journalistic records. (Yeah! now that's some real coward politics! , using allies as masks to commit crimes you want to commit!)

Now turning to the main point, if you haven't heard about Iran-Israel conflict yet, you might be living under a rock or you are too lazy like me to read those news articles my X feed keeps showing.

As Iran was attacked today, losing some of its top leadership and main thing we want to discuss, some nuclear research scientists. Now details of the matter can be found anywhere on the internet so You do You. We are here to talk some deep shit! (no its not! take it easy!)

Why Killing Brain power matters in Geopolitics

Technology gives us wings. but we don't want our enemy to have wings , right? That kinda sums up the secret US missions in World War 2 to kidnap Hitler's top scientists and bomb makers to keep the enemy at the bay.

Same happened in the recent attacks on Iranian nuclear sites by Israel. Some major nuclear scientists were killed knowingly or unknowingly , it doesn't matter. The thing that matters is what if one of them was J. Oppenheimer for the Iran? What if he was Abdul Qadeer Khan (who fairly matches their work profile to the major extent) of Iran? So destroying the brain power might be your best chess move in quickly kicking the opponent decades back in the progress. Now all of this might seem obvious to you in the hindsight but implications of this can be far more worse than you think.

Iran was now almost at the brink of enriching enough Uranium to build a complete weapon. After effects of that are up to your own discussions, but having that much power can't sit right with your opponents. So this is how these attacks are justified in minds of Israel and more so USA.

This rages Iran to be more inclined in breaking nuclear thresholds and actually acting in bad faith just to stick it up to its enemies.

Now that is the thing we should all be worried about. In moments like these we humans tend to support and root for the oppressed (in this one instance most think its Iran) . But this end up blinding ourselves to the basic requirement of rules to keep a technology like Nukes ending up in wrong hands and eventually be cause of a catastrophe we all might not see.

An Advantage to the world

Everyone with a heart cried once for the kids dying in Middle east. The Iran-Israel war might just be the thing we needed to put a temporary if not long term pause to that brutal killing of the younger ones. While war is horrific no matter who the players are , some are more horrific than the others. This becomes a question of morality. Absolute utopia might never be achieved, so we have to consider trade offs to put end to suffering one at a time.

Iran is a powerful independent nation, It has allies, It has a rich history (might be richest culture and history of all) , and now It is on a brink of attaining nuclear power. If a chess match is being played, I would love it be played between two equals and not between an oppressor and an oppressed.

This might just be the turn of events for Middle east, I am not sure, but contradicting Nietzsche, hope is a beautiful thing, It can give life where there is none.

What are your moral biases in times of war?
